In response to the surge in the wholesale price of electricity brought on by the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Valencia president Ximo Puig has said that his government will speed up the transition to energy production from renewable sources.
Sr Puig noted that next week they will approve a decree which is designed to accelerate energy independence.
