THE owners of a well known restaurant in Tárbena are facing eviction after the lease on the council-owned property expired in 2014.
Jeroni Moncho Pascual, known locally as Pinet, opened the restaurant 42 years ago, and since then it has become famous as a museum and a meeting-place for political left wingers.
His son, Jeroni Moncho Ferrer, who runs the restaurant, said that negotiations with the council to get a new lease have so far failed, and at present both sides are at an impasse.
