NATIONAL Police arrested a couple in Altea on Tuesday after they snatched their newborn baby from the paediatric intensive care unit,
After giving birth at Palma de Mallorca’s Son Espases hospital on July 10., the 22-year-old mother, together with the 23-year-old father, removed their baby from the hospital, after social services decided that it would be placed with a family, as they considered it was a risk and needed immediate administrative guardianship. As they ran off with their baby, hospital staff were in hot pursuit.
