THE line 9 TRAM route between Altea and Calpe will reopen by the end of May.
Closed in mid-October, works have been carried out in the main to improve the security systems.
It is now undergoing daily test drives by the 25 engine drivers qualified to use the route to ensure the changes have been properly installed.
