The Marina Baixa area (Villajoyosa to Altea and inland towns) is on yellow alert for downpours and orange alert for strong winds of up to 80kmph this morning (Monday, 13). Rainfall of up to 80 litres per square metre could fall in less than 12 hours. Until 9.00, La Nucía had reported rainfall of 29.6 litres per square metre.
