BRITISH drug baron Brian Colin Charrington has been sentenced to over 15 years in prison by Alicante provincial court.
Charrington was found guilty of drug dealing following the finding of a 200kg cocaine haul in a villa in Albir in 2012.
The court also found him guilty of money laundering the profits obtained by drug traficking. The judge considered it proved that Charrington led a criminal organisation that smuggled drugs from South America to be distributed in Spain.
