THIS route is at its best on a cold, crisp winter morning. It makes use of two waymarked short distance footpaths in the municipality of Ibi, starting out on the PR-CV 127 and coming back on the PR-CV 26. There are a number of features on this rewarding round walk. It starts on an attractive path up the Miller’s Ravine (Barranco de los Molinos) – a beautiful gulley, with the added interest of the old mills and the waterworks/streams. A recurring theme is the word ‘Mas’, which is the Catalan/Valencian word for farmhouse, with several appearing en route. But, most interesting are the snow wells (pozo de nieve in Spanish or pou de la neu in Valencian), with no less than four on or near the path.
