HAVING completed the 4.4km from Cavallers reservoir to the stepping stones just short of the Ventosa i Calvell mountain refuge, there are several options available.
In this week’s piece we turn immediately left, now inside the national park of Aigüestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici. This path heads towards two refuges situated on the GR-11.8 footpath – Restanca and Colomers.
