THE provincial government, the Diputación de Málaga, is set to undertake a series of projects aimed at upgrading over 100 kilometres of existing hiking trails in the province and creating some new ones.
The biggest project takes in five stretches of trail totalling 82 kilometres which will be incorporated into the province-wide Gran Senda trail network, and which coincide with part of Málaga province’s route to the Camino de Santiago de Compostela, known as the Camino Mozárabe.
