Last Sunday, July 3, was a dark day on the roads of Málaga province, after two motorbike riders were tragically killed in two separate incidents in the towns of Benalmádena and Coín.
The first accident took place in Benalmádena shortly before 3am, when a 44-year-old off-duty local firefighter died after coming off his bike while heading westbound on Avenida del Sol, near the Sunset Beach Club.
Local police and health services attended the scene after witnesses of the accident called the 112 emergency line, but the victim could not be resuscitated.
