TORREMOLINOS town hall has announced that work will begin next year on the capping of the old, illegal rubbish dump in the local sierra, which was closed down by court order in 2011 but never properly sealed.
The project will take an estimated 18 months, and once it is complete the town hall aims to turn the site into a municipal park, said councillor Maribel Tocón.
