ONE of Spain’s most high profile missing persons cases was solved last week, after a 41-year-old man admitted to being responsible for the disappearance and death of 18-year-old Diana Quer in August 2016.
Quer, from Madrid, had been visiting a family holiday home in Galicia and was declared missing after failing to return from a fair in Puebla del Caramiñal. Her mobile phone was found in a nearby river in October 2016, but the case was provisionally shelved last April due to the absence of a clear suspect.
