Police are investigating a yellow powder found in an envelope delivered in Mérida on Monday. It was addressed to the offices of UNED, Spain’s Open University and the alarm was raised by the woman who opened it. Police said later that first indications suggested it had been a “joke” and the worker who came into contact with the powder was in good health.
