Fuengirola’s deputy mayor Ana Mata was called in to testify last Wednesday, April 13, by the Fuengirola court investigating the deaths of two municipal workers last March when Mata was councillor for town planning. The victims were crushed by a falling wall when building a trench, with one of the men dying at the scene and the other in hospital. The investigation is ongoing.
