WORK DELAYS
Planned road cuts over Ronda’s Puente Nuevo will no longer take place this month, but in September instead. The local town hall announced last week that work on improving the bridge’s sanitation and rainwater collection network, and 15 other similar projects in areas including the Dehesa neighbourhood, will now begin after the town’s Pedro Romero fair. Councillor Francisco Márquez said the delay is due to administrative reasons.
