Mijas town hall said last week that a deal with the Junta de Andalucía will allow the town to take on some €7 million of water supply infrastructure works, funded by its portion of the region-wide infrastructure surcharge levied on consumers in their water bills. The work, including pipelines, a pump station and other elements, will focus on improving the supply to Mijas Pueblo.
