Cártama town hall last week issued a municipal edict calling on all residents to exercise responsible water use in this “period of scarce rains”. While it did not issue specific restrictions, the town hall emphasised that “potable water is a limited and essential commodity, and public collaboration is of fundamental importance in preventing a shortage”.
