A lifeguard on Málaga’s La Misericordia beach saved three bathers in ten minutes last Friday afternoon. He first helped a couple who were struggling to get out of the water and who later required hospital treatment, followed by a youngster who had been pulled 50 metres offshore by the current. All had entered the sea despite the red flag flying.
