Mijas town hall has launched the initial steps of a process that could lead to it taking over responsibility for road and other basic infrastructure maintenance in many of the town’s 200 urbanisations. It is preparing to put out to tender an audit of the current situation of the urbanisations, while the municipal incorporation of the first ones could begin as early as next year, said officials.
