Town hall employees in the Valle del Guadiaro village of Cortes de la Frontera have now accumulated ten months of unpaid wages, despite the workers carrying out various protest actions. Some of the employees are also still owed two bonus payments, and Miguel Pineda of the CSI-F trade union called the situation “unsustainable”. He also called for Málaga’s provincial government to provide the extraordinary economic aid to alleviate the situation that was approved by the body in July.
