The trial of 50 people accused of a scam involving entrance tickets to the Alhambra Palace opens in a Granada court today and is expect to continue until Christmas. Charges include fraud, bribery, forging financial documents and damage to historic and artistic heritage. The prosecution has quantified resultant losses to the Palace’s Board of Management at €6.6 million.
