Jesús Ruiz Casado, owner of failed development company Aifos, was set to go on trial on Monday, facing up to four years in prison for allegedly transferring 138 properties valued at €17.2 million from Aifos to another company he ran, in order to prevent them being embargoed to compensate creditors. However, the trial was rescheduled for April 18 2018, due to the absence of a witness who was to testify.
