The court investigating allegations of misappropriation of public funds against Manilva mayor Mario Jiménez and former mayor Antonio Muñoz has ordered that the case go to trial. The public prosecutor is seeking four years in prison for Sr Jiménez and eight years for Sra Muñoz in the case, which relates to the town hall providing financing for the El Hacho urbanisation near the la Duquesa port in 2008.
