More than 20 people were injured, at least one seriously, when a train running from Málaga to Sevilla came off the tracks on Wednesday according to 112 Emergencias Andalucia. The incident happened at 10.20am, as the service from Málaga was travelling through the town of Arahal. Uninjured passengers were evacuated before continuing their journey by road while, at the time of going to press a seriously injured person had already been air-lifted to Sevilla’s Virgen del Rocio hospital.
