Ronda’s town hall has announced plans to introduce traffic restrictions over the Puente Nuevo, once construction work on the bridge is completed in the coming weeks. The proposal, not yet approved, would see traffic restricted to residents of the Ciudad and San Francisco neighborhoods, bikes and motorbikes, public and emergency service vehicles and guests of certain historic quarter hotels, from 10am-8pm every day, while other vehicles, such as those linked to tourism, would need prior town hall approval.
