Torremolinos will maintain offering local residents subsidies to the municipality’s local property tax (IBI) despite a state ruling against the practice in February. The town hall says there is an appeal in place and it will continue to provide aid to needy families “until there is a final judgment.” It adds while the ordinance will change in 2017, it will remain in place this year.
