A €198,000 project to improve accessibility at Fuengirola’s Cercanías train station has been completed by State rail administrators Renfe. The work has seen the placement of a touch-sensitive pavement to make access easier for travellers with reduced mobility, and the installation of new LED lighting. Renfe’s Cercanías improvement plan has also seen accessibility improved at Los Boliches, with changes in Benalmádena underway.
