A 12-year-old boy in Antequera suffered head injuries and was admitted to hospital in Málaga last Thursday after a football goalpost collapsed onto him. He is understood to have been playing on a pitch in the La Quinta district when the incident occurred. The town hall has opened an investigation but opposition councillors immediately blamed the poor state of sports facilities in the area.
