A 46-year-old Benalmádena man was arrested by Guardia Civil officers last Thursday near Zaragoza, after 2,500 packets of contraband tobacco from Andorra were found in plastic bin-bags in the boot of his car. The man was pulled over on a road near the city, and didn’t have proof of payment for the haul, which also lacked the appropriate tax seals. The seized tobacco has a street value of €11,600.
