Progress on a planned new secondary school in Benalmádena Pueblo is moving forward, after the council announced last week that the Junta de Andalucía have issued a favourable report on the modification of the town’s PGOU local development plan, concerning land use for the school’s location in the Retamar area. Councillor Oscar Ramundo said the change must now get the OK from the Junta’s advisory council, and final approval, before the plot can be made available to the regional body.
