Cártama has launched an initiative to persuade parents to shop locally when preparing their youngsters for the new school year. The town hall says over 40 outlets in Cártama Pueblo, Estación de Cártama and El Sexmo are participating in the initiative which runs from August 14 to September 30. Shoppers will be given entries to cash prize draws when they make a purchase.
