A countryside fire razed two hectares of vegetation near Salobreña on Friday evening. The alert was raised at 7.30pm and the outbreak was tackled by two trucks and six fire-fighters from Motril. The blaze was finally extinguished at 1.30am without any major damage to property and without causing any injuries.
