The Granada prosecutor has called for a 17-year custodial sentence for a man accused of the attempted murder of a police officer last September. The local agent was stabbed in the abdomen with a 21 centimetre knife but his life was saved by the safety flak jacket he was wearing. The attacker was one of four being pursued following a robbery with violence.
