Cártama town hall has acquired 10 defibrillators for the town’s primary and secondary schools, announced officials last week. Having the devices available at the schools “could save a life in the event of a cardiac arrest”, said mayor Jorge Gallardo. The defibrillators, which were acquired at a cost of €15,000, will be installed at the schools next month.
