Frigiliana has spent around €3,000 installing fire hydrants at strategic points in rural areas of the municipality. These operate at a pressure which allows fire trucks to be refilled in 45 to 50 seconds. One, situated in the area known as Paraje de los Peñones, meets a long-standing demand from residents.
