Spain has complained about the “bias” of the Romanian referee in their Rugby World Cup qualifier last Sunday. Belgium won 18-10 but the Spanish Rugby Federation has alleged that the “suspicious” performance of the referee, who was chased off the pitch at full time by Spain’s players, enabled his home side, Romania, to qualify. Rugby Europe is set to address the issue tomorrow, Friday.
