Residents of Pizarra and Álora, along with Álora’s mayor José Sánchez, have called on the Junta de Andalucía to reopen an old access road to the A-357 at Pizarra. They say that despite some technical elements of the road not being up to code, the access is safer than the current one, a T-junction that requires drivers to cross a lane of traffic to get onto southbound A-357.
