Fuengirola’s council announced last week that new informational signage is to be placed on the town’s recycling containers, in both English and Spanish, reminding people that green bins are for bottles; yellow ones for plastic and blue for paper and cardboard waste. The move comes after the town reported strong recycling figures for the first three months of 2017, with more than 1.2-million kilos recycled in the town.
