Around ten thousand people took part in the fourth annual Santa Claus race through the centre of Madrid on Saturday. When they registered, each was handed a Santa outfit to wear during the 5.5 kilometre run. The event broke its own Guinness Book record, set last year at 5,173, by a massive margin making it the world’s most popular such annual event.
