Estepona town hall’s package of some 20 tax and fee cuts, approved in October, came into effect on January 1. Highlights include the sixth annual drop in the IBI property tax rate, to 0.688%, and a 5% reduction in rubbish-collection fees for around 8,000 ratepayers by the merging of the fourth and fifth bands of the fee scale, both of which will now pay €115.
