Construction work began in Ronda last week on a project to enclose a 200-metre stretch of railway, between the town’s El Fuerte and La Harinera de San Rafael areas. The €60,000 project, which will include a protective wall, is being carried out by railway administrator Adif. La Harinera residents had urged the council to make the stretch of line safer for some time, due to its closeness to a busy public square.
