Around 15,000 people marched through Granada on Sunday, February 12, to protest the city’s “isolation” from the railway network and the successive failures to resolve the problem. The latest government date given for competition of the high-speed AVE line to Granada is 2018, meaning three years without rail links. Marchers said the situation is damaging to the productive, touristic and economic fabric of the province.
