The opposition Partido Popular in Torremolinos has criticised the town hall for having not yet paid the prize money – totalling €3,020 – to winners of the various categories at the town’s half-marathon held seven months ago, in February. The PP says the failure to pay the prizes in a timely manner is tarnishing the image of the event, which attracts international participants.
