The recent death of pop legend Prince has resulted in a surge of interest in a Marbella mansion that he formerly owned, and that has gone unsold on the market for two years. The opulent six-bedroom home in El Paraíso was purchased by Prince in 1998 as a gift to his then wife, Mayte García. It was put up for sale in 2014 by its subsequent owner and remains listed listed by Engel & Völkers for €5.25 million.
