An off-duty National Police officer saved two bathers from drowning off Málaga’s La Misericordia beach last week. He was relaxing with his own family when he grabbed his children’s float and rescued a woman in her 50s and a British tourist in her 20s who were struggling in heavy seas. The officer has since received thanks from Málaga Town Hall and the director general of Police.
