Marbella local police officers had a tense clash with a group of illegal street vendors at the Levante beach by Puerto Banús on Tuesday. Officers were moving around 50 vendors from the zone when one resisted violently, leading to a standoff between police and other vendors. One officer finally fired a shot into the air to control the situation. Two people were arrested and two officers suffered minor injuries.
