Málaga town hall is believed to be the first in Spain to suspend the plusvalía capital gains tax in cases when a property is sold at a loss, following a recent Constitutional Court ruling. Finance councillor Carlos Conde said on Friday that 550 claims had already been received for repayments of the tax, but that the legal mechanism for processing them is not yet in place. The total of these claims is unclear.
