Cártama town hall has announced that the local police department is stepping up patrolling by plainclothes officers to crack down on “un-civic” behaviour such as dog owners failing to clean up after their pets or people depositing rubbish in street bins outside the established hours. Officials said the move comes in response to “continual” complaints from residents over these issues.
