For the first time ever, Torrox has plain clothes local police officers patrolling the streets to increase surveillance and tackle crime. The initiative was introduced last Sunday to coincide with the town’s Migas Festival. The move, announced by mayor Óscar Medina last Wednesday, was approved by the local security council.
