Málaga is to retain its direct air link with New York all year round. A series of meetings between the city, Costa del Sol Tourism and Delta Airlines has resulted in the airline expanding the route which until now has operated only during summer months. Last year, 116,000 visitors from the US landed in Málaga, an increase of 5% on 2014.
